Proteomics platform for protein interaction mapping (Z03)

In the central project Z03 the proteomics platform contributed to several projects within the CRC958 by obtaining quantitative interactome data. In the coming funding period this platform will be extended by proximity-based biotinylation methods for interactome studies (APEX-2, BioID). Furthermore, cross-linking mass spectrometry (MS) will allow for the unbiased characterization of protein structures and interactions at a sub-protein-domain level. Finally, native MS will be implemented to investigate the stoichiometry of proteins and protein complexes.
