This subproject is devoted to the development of formal approaches to the configuration and evaluation of services as well as their algorithmic and practical realization in the context of OTF computing. In the third funding period, the following goals will be pursued. First, configuration shall be realized as a continuous process that never completely finishes, and which also supports a stronger integration of the user. Second, by letting different but similar configuration processes cooperate with each other, the efficiency of configuration shall be improved. Third, instead of using quality properties as mere constraints, they should be used as goals to be simultaneously maximized.
