The light-induced ultrafast electronic structure dynamics in topological materials will be directly imaged by free-electron laser-based time- and angle-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy using advanced multi-dimensional energy-momentum-spin detection. In close collaboration with projects A6, B3, B5, B8, B9, C1, C3, and C4, we will develop new approaches to dynamically control topological band-structure properties and non-equilibrium carrier and spin dynamics.
