Project identifier

Based on the evidence on CT-shifts obtained so far, C03 will study the precise nature of the post-lexical facilita-tion of NP formation in the case of CT-congruent compared to incongruent NPs by investigating the processing of such NPs embedded in sentences providing a situational context. Corresponding frame-theoretical work will be conducted in collaboration with A01. C03 will furthermore investigate in a word learning paradigm whether the categorization of count vs. mass nouns is based on conceptual or syntactic information. In collaboration with C11, C03 will conduct eye-tracking and EEG work on the processing of coercion and copredication.
