Project Details
Role of novel coronin 1A and CD18 interacting partners in neutrophil trafficking (A02)
Subject Area
Immunology
Term
from 2011 to 2023
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 165054336
This project aims at deciphering the molecular mechanisms that regulate β2 integrins during neutrophil trafficking to sites of lesion in the context of acute inflammation. By combining studies on the molecular and cellular level with analysis of different mouse models and insights from patients with rare monogenic defects, we will characterize the function of coronin 1A and CD18 interacting proteins, particularly of VPS18, LRCH4 and Themis2 in neutrophil biology.
