One of the major goals of the CRC877 is the high standard scientific qualification and the support of young researchers. We therefore initiated an Integrated Research Training Group (IRTG) with the title `Proteases and Pathophysiology´. Medical doctoral students will be supported by a one-year scholarship. In addition to the medical doctoral students, who are directly funded by the IRTG, all doctoral researchers working in the research projects of the CRC will be members of the IRTG and will benefit from the courses and the continuing scientific education offered by the IRTG.
