Moving loads and contact in elastic multibody systems (EMBS) require high care and attention in model order reduction (MOR) of elastic bodies as well as its application in simulations of EMBS. In the first part of the project "Modellreduktion bei elastischen Mehrkörpersystemen mit wandernden Interaktionsstellen" two approaches to model moving loads on elastic bodies were introduced and investigated. The extension of these methods for moving areal loads which affect large areas simultaneously is very difficult and should be investigated in the second part of the project. Therefore, additional parametric model reduction methods should be applied for elastic multibody systems and the extension of the approximation of time-dependent input matrices will be developed. Apart from this, a third approach, which contains the system switching of dynamical systems, should be enabled for mechanical systems and applied for moving areal loads in EMBS simulations. All methods will be implemented and investigated for mechanical systems of different complexity to enable a prediction about the applicability of these methods to simulate elastic multibody systems with moving areal loads.
