The Z1 core project provides an automated high-throughput crystallization facility to the projects of the CRC. In addition optimization of buffer conditions for preparation and crystallization by means of thermal shift analysis, as well as sample characterisation by combined gel filtration chromatography and MALS analysis are performed.
