Interactive Exploration and Assessment of Tunnel Alignments (D01)

The focus of Subproject D1 is the development of novel concepts for an interactive digital design of urban tunneling projects by integrating real-time models developed in other subprojects of the SFB 837 and interactively considering project-specific boundary conditions. To this end, a rule-based assessment of each alternative alignment will be conducted, for which relevant criteria will be defined. The assessment process will include the evaluation of interaction chains of the SFB 837. The results of the assessment will be depicted in real-time and the choice of an optimal alignment will be substantiated in a virtual environment.
