Project Details
Process Simulation in Mechanized Tunneling: From Prognoses to Real-Time Steering Using Continuous Machine-Data-Based Model Updates (C03)
Subject Area
Structural Engineering, Building Informatics and Construction Operation
Term
from 2010 to 2022
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 77309832
The focus of Subproject C3 is on prognosis models of the construction process, including the supply chain and all partial processes, enabling a real-time steering of the process chain with re-spect to potential disturbances. This requires the extension of the existing models by developing efficient methods for data recording and data processing. The integration of real-time prognosis allows the performance of suitable countermeasures for expectable disturbances prior to the occur-rence of production reducing events and thus, minimizes the risk of failures within the process chain.
