Project Details
Compressible Annular Gap Grouts for Squeezing Rock (B03)
Subject Area
Construction Material Sciences, Chemistry, Building Physics
Term
from 2010 to 2022
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 77309832
Subproject B3 focusses on the development of compressible annular gap grouts. The experimental investigations will consider aspects for the material itself as well as for the execution to ensure a robust grouting. Based on numerically designed suitable microstructures (Subproject B2) grouts will be generated by adding compressible particles to the mortar or by per se porous mortars, which will enable ideal-plastic behavior up to about 50% deformation. Besides the development of such grouts, some of them will be investigated in combination with deformable lining segments (Subproject B1).
