Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 163658437
This project maintains the research infrastructure and the experimental plots as basis for the work of all projects. It is responsible for (1) the installation, maintenance and management of the research infrastructure, (2) the monitoring of abiotic conditions and aboveground community composition and productivity of both producers (plants) and consumers (aboveground invertebrates), and (3) the implementation of the Ecotron experiment in Montpellier, France. The scientific coordinator will participate in research on the relationship between plant diversity and a number of community-level functions and study the interactions between plant diversity and the structure of consumer communities. The Ecotron postdoc is responsible for the planning and supervision of the Ecotron experiment.
