The Integrated Research Training Group (German: Modul Graduiertenkolleg, MGK) has been working very successfully since the first funding period. It addresses young researchers (YRs) who work in the research projects of the Transregio, including students, Ph. D. students and postdocs. The Ph. D. students become members of an Integrated Graduate School (IGS), which is the central organizational unit of the MGK. A comprehensive training program is offered, including lectures and advanced tutorials, seminars, workshops, summer school, scientific and cross-disciplinary exchange, small independent research projects, and mentoring.
